The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, is expected to announce the commencement of Ramadan, Muslims' fasting month any moment from now.

A reliable news source in Saudi Arabia confirmed that Ramadan crescent has been sighted at Hotat Sudair Observatory in Saudi Arabia.

Our correspondent gathered that Muslims in Nigeria are expected to commence fasting tomorrow.
