Each year,thousands of students graduate from our universities, polytechnics and colleges of education and yet when you take a good look at new bachelorsdegree, masters and even PHD holders, it is very obvious that something is clearly lacking and that is "critical thinking" which is very paramount in fostering ideas and enhancing entrepreneurial drive.  Is that why even the most comfortable educated person in our society including our professors and lecturers can't seem to creat or discover things on their own? Does it have to do with the fact that we don't put passion into it and less interested in seeking more knowledge and thinking out of the box or is it a cultural thing? And please don't start making excuses about how bad our government and system is because even those with the best opportunities in Nigeria still lack this which is needed to be creative.

What do you think can be done to address this issue and ventilate this kind of critical thinking in our institutions and society at large?
