That dimension can only be angle, angle is the only parameter that has a constant value between does two lines, if the separation were to be length it will have range of value from 0 to the length of the width

Both methods are actually correct, the problem with the first was that, I made some approximations midway before arriving at the final answer. That was what affected the decimal figures

I used this method as well. I'll post the alternate method I used once I get home

tan (x/2) = 1/4
x/2 = tan -1 (1/4)
x = 2tan-1 (1/4)

X = √17
The height of the rectangle is double the height of the vertical line from where both X meet and the base of the triangle X is forming.
That leaves us with Pythagora's theorem
4² + 1² = X²
16 + 1 = X²
17 = X²
X = √17


If angle then sin(x)(0.5) = 1/4 = 0.25
x/2 = 14.4775
x = 28.955
