So how did Liverpool managed to keep the Magician at bay. Was it counterpressing, man marking, shadow marking or just out numbering? Your opinions please.

Dey didn't... If U want to mark Messi out of a game, make sure U disrupt Barca's passing rhythm.. Liverpool high pressing made sure Barca couldn't get d ball beyond d centre circle without having to shoot a long ball which gets to no one but back to liverpool

Liverpool made sure the passes doesn't get to Messi. Personally, i feel the coach should be sacked for losing a huge lead for 2 consecutive seasons
