Imo State House of Assembly on Thursday suspended all 27 elected Chairmen of the 27 Local Government Areas of the state.

Igbere TV reports that the motion for the immediate suspension of the Chairmen was moved by Chika Madumere, and was unanimously supported by all the lawmakers at the plenary.

Our correspondent reports that Madumere accused the Chairmen of failing to appear before the legislature to give explanation on how they have been running their LGAs financially.

According to him, the suspended Chairmen undermined the legislature by failing to properly honour invitations sent to them on several occasions.

Which of the finances/funds are they been accused of self? Rochas ruled Imo state without LG chairmen, just installed them because of the election. Unfortunately for him they couldn't help him achieve his evil ambition.

These moronic dingbats at the Imo State House of Assembly should have started with Imo State governor named Okoroawusa. The fish starts to rot from the head. It is out of logic for the members of Imo State house of assembly to remotely think about LGA chairmen and sending of money without the state governor in the mix. I know Imo State has a curse placed on it with respect to governor-elects. One wonders if members of state house of representative were also a curse on the state.
