In the end all I see is people spending years arguing and arguing over who's the best when all that should've been done is, dit back just relax and enjoy these two guys do their thing.
Take it from me, most of the times we've failed to enjoy their abilities because we're too blind to see how goof they are all because we choose to be fanboys.
Years after these two stop playing football, when generations come will hear of their exploits and wish they witnessed it, then when we can't see players to emulate these two players, you'd look back thinking, “Damn! I should've just enjoyed them instead of comparing and letting favouritism blind me”

If you play PES you will understand this man's point. I normally bench Messi because he doesn't just fit in to certain style of play even though he has the best stats. I feel sorry for coaches sometimes cos you may have a very good player who doesn't fit into your style of play.

In summary, Diego Simeon meant that Ronaldo is a hustler on the pitch and everything does not necessarily need to be right / perfect before he does his magic or lift his team when the chips are down. However, Messi needs to play in a well structured, organised / nearly perfect team for his magical prowess to show and that is very true. He does not mean to say one is better, he just compared their style and how they showcase their magic.
Ronaldo has constantly demonstrated this. I will never forget Manchester United versus Fc Porto 2008 for example.

the summary of what he said is that Ronaldo focusses on getting the results by any means necessary even if he and his team are bot playing well while Messi is more likely to be involved in beautiful attacking play.

Ronaldo is quite intelligent. He had to change his style of play to suit his age and all and that is part of the secrets of his longevity. He does not run helter skelter again.........he does more of mental work now and calculation, being at the right place at the right time and being generally calculative. Imagine Ronaldo still having close to 30 goals in all competition at 34 while some other strikers in their prime like that useless Lukaku find it hard to even cross the 20 goal margin. I doubt if Lukaku is up to 24 years of age. Imagine what he is going to be like when he clocks 34. Totally useless of course!

Hahahahaha. I do not think there should be any complain at all with respect to that when we look at his age. The likes of Zidane and other fantastic footballers who did not play with the same burst of energy as he does retired even before 34 because they know it was beginning to tell on their body. How can a 34 year old man be more prolific than most strikers in their 20s. That is still one puzzle I find hard to unravel. Care to help me?
