IF over 70% failed to meetup 50% scores, then the Problem is NOT with JAMB, the problem is with secondary schools who collect exhorbitant fees and dont deliver quality education to the students. Imagine a sec school that collects over #60k from students and pays Teachers #20k per month. What do we expect from their students

With this high rate of failure, 283 cannot get him/her a place in UNN for a course like Banking and Finance? That's not possible except there is no place for merit there. I'm certain he's among the 10% percent nationwide cos less than 30% scored more than 200 nationwide.

If there is anything like merit in UNN, you should get your Banking and Finance with such UTME score and equally good score in Post UTME, but this is Nigeria after all.. I never knew people still study Banking and Finance in this 21st century. It's just too narrow. Accounting/Economics would have been better options in my opinion with better employment prospects and career path. Your call though.
Change of course/institution will still be out.You might want to take advantage of that and apply in a place like OAU being from Osun state to avoid stories that touch later. Your call though.
