Pdp Suspends Primaries Indefinitely by Abagworo(m): 5:44am On Sep 23, 2010 |
Just like I prophesied, let us watch the elections shifted to between april and june 2011. By Henry Umoru ABUJA—NATIONAL leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, yesterday, suspended all Congresses and Primaries earlier scheduled to commence this week till further notice. In a statement signed by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Professor Rufai Ahmed Alkali, the party said that sale and return of Expression of Interest Forms and Nomination Forms would continue as earlier announced, adding that new dates for all PDP Primaries and Congresses shall be communicated to party members in due course. The statement said: “The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has directed the suspension of all Congresses and Primaries scheduled to commence this weekend till further notice. “Rising from its meeting held on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, the NWC said this action has become necessary in view of the joint decision by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and all Political Parties at their meeting yesterday. “Nigerians will recall that INEC and the parties agreed to a shift of the earlier advertised dates for electioneering activities. However, the sale and return of Expression of Interest Forms and Nomination Forms shall continue as earlier announced. New dates for all PDP Primaries and Congresses shall be communicated in due course.” |

There is no way JEG would beat the combine votes of the quartet, Saraki, IBB,Gusau,Atiku. If they quartet decide to adopt one candidate and pool resources together I cannot see JEG beating them, OR is it not going to be a secret ballot. Would JEG know who the Daniel’s and Akala's of this world who they are casting their votes for, I am waiting for the Government magic JEG would perform during the primaries. If they run independently then JEG would carry the day, but as a combined force, I am sorry to burst die-hard JEG fans it is going to be a walk-over for the Nordic forces. That actually opens a new dimension to the race, JEG should make enough money as a Sitting President knowing he would not be there come May 2011. If JEG really loves Nigeria he should walk a way from the loss in the primaries with dignity knowing his defeated army would pool resources together and join the ever growing Ribadu tsunami which blow every other forces away come January 2011. If Goodluck can do this for the nation he would have written his name in stone for generations to come. Don’t forget a defeated Incumbent can make things happen in a general election. Most of the back stabbing Governors who aligned themselves with the Nordic forces would be given a taste of their own medicine come January 2011 elections. |

If this story is true we have start to see the Goverment Magic in play. If true this would be bad for democracy OBJ's end of tenure is different from JEG' s elevation, No Southerner can justifiable want to lay claim to the Presidency after OBJ had just completed an 8 year 2 terms then. But what we have today is a different cup of fish, the top job is open to all, a free for all, JEG should not go down this undemocratic route otherwise it would spell doom. |

HERE IS THE PDP ZONING FORMULAR AS DRAWN IN 1999 AS I KNOW IT: Why are you spamming the section with this your rubbish But what we have today is a different cup of fish, the top job is open to all, a free for all, JEG should not go down this undemocratic route otherwise it would spell doom. So in you own understanding the turn-by-turn idea of politics is more democratic, infact there is no type of theory and consiparcy one will not hear on N/L by the desperadoes and their band of leash-dogs. GEJ is already on that route, and it will surely spell political doom for some people like the gap-toothed Gen, the p.rostituing ex-custom officer, the spymaster and the Kwara man-pikin. The demystification of some people is about to begin. |
