sorry bro... Am not a yahoo Boy.. Crime has no gain but sometimes we need to respect freedom of speech... My reference was to EFCC on abuse of power... So u mean everyone that sang a song abt yahoo should be arrested...

When we don't defend our freedom of little things like this then why do we fight then.... Tomorrow it may be a case against something damaging

I'm sorry but you strike me as a criminal. Someone who has an identity and a name to protect openly defended cyber crime and kept influencing the masses to see gain in it. The stupid idiot actually wrote that cyber crime is a revenge for slavery. If it were some Middle East countries, his head would have been fed to the vultures.

Stupid letter.

EFCC has the right to prosecute him with evidence & the fraudster also has the right to defend himself with facts if he is innocent.

What's the fuss about?
If someone tags me a fraudster, & takes me to court, I'll confidently get my lawyers because I know nothing incriminating will be found on me. I will actually make money by suing him later for character assassination and the likes.

This thief is guilty that's why they are issuing this statement on his behalf. They are seeking senseless public sympathy from foolish youths that have next to nothing in their brains.
Soon, they will stage a protest to divert attention from the FACT that evidence was found on him.

The bastard should rot in jail to serve as deterrent for other thieves like him.

Naira did not publicly defend those who commit fraud

What about when he said ''If you know about slavery, you go know say Yahoo no be crime"?

It is one thing to be a criminal in your heart, but when you start publicly justifying your criminality you are no longer just a criminal but also a fool.

Dude, just calling yourself Pablo Escobar (a former drug lord), and constantly promoting drug abuse/dealing are two different things all together.
I bet u can proudly call yourself a Pablo Escobar in front of the police n go free but trust me if you call yourself a "drug dealer, you wont go without been questioned and further investigated.

EFCC has managed to make this guy unnecessarily popular. At the end of the day they will still not be able to get a conviction.
POPULAR? no his image has been damaged, watch him being denied visas for his int’l shows, you think it’s easy to be prosecuted by the EFCC and when you come out you’ll find it easy to get things done solo without having one godfather someone where wey get mouth well well.

Baby criminal, take a break from the internet a while and focus on becoming a better person; one worthy of emulating.

Why you think a name as Pablo Escobar is worthy of adoption is no doubt troubling.

your last paragraph just shows you are quite dumb no offense. How can you say fraud has no disadvantage that's unique to Nigerians ? Dude we are blacklisted by PayPal you can't receive money through them, several other online payment platforms have strict regulations on us . Doing business online is equally a problem , sites like Amazon don't accept Nigerians on some of thier platforms . It's very hard to convince a foreign client to do business with you once you mention Nigeria . And you are here saying it has no negative effect

Two lines struck me in this letter...

(1) “Naira Marley....has turned his back on crime” (does this mean he used to have his ‘front’ in crime?); and
(2) “Naira Marley was found with an item that does not belong to him” (what incriminating evidence was in the item?).

Of course everyone is presumed INNOCENT until proven guilty...
But it appears that there is a basis for his arrest and investigation.
