Our value system in this country has waned badly.  In those days, if a young man's riches are not known, people avoid him. If a politician is implicated in misappropriation of funds,,let alone loot, his kinsmen may ostracize him but today, if you dont steal government money, you are seen as a mumu. Those that are corrupt are given awards and chieftaincy titles. |
