Airlines do not make their money from economy class rather from premium class, business class, and first class

Imagine a flight from London to New York on a Boeing 777 which carries about 224 passengers.

what airline does is to allocate 122 sits to economy class because they understand most people can afford it. for instance, if an economy ticket is $800, the revenue an airline will make from that class is $97,600.

a premium class ticket will cost around $2000, 40 sits will be allocated to this class, meaning from a single trip, the airline will gain $80,000.

you can see that the total premium class tickets revenue make almost an economy class revenue.

next is the business class, 48 sit will be allocated to this class and most business class ticket cost around $5000 meaning from a single trip an airline will make $240,000.

the first class, 14 sits are allocated to this class and a ticket can go for almost $8000 depending on the airline, from these sits, an airline will make $112,000

when you look at the revenue of each class, you will realise that the 14 first class passenger makes more money for the airline than the 122 economy class passengers.

if you calculate well, the premium class, business class, and first class which consists of 102 passengers make the airline $432,000 more than the 122 economy class which just makes the airline $97,600.

The reality is this, most airlines get 80% of their revenue from premium class, business class and first class rather than from economy class

So stop trying to prove God and demand the bests customer service whenever you are on an economy flight, most flight attendant will ignore you or make your life hell on the flight
