The goal is simple. Connect one million construction professionals and artisans and help provide a platform where Nigerians can request vetted professionals and artisans without the fear of poorly executed job associated with quackery or money loose.

This is what Taye Olajide, Ozuruoke Ajie and their team are trying to achieve in Nigeria’s fast growing construction industry. It is on record that the Nigerian construction industry was partially responsible for lifting Nigeria out of recession contributing as much as 5% to the country’s GDP in 2018. Nigeria construction industry also accounts for a large portion of the country’s workforce.

However one thing we would agree is that the industry has yet to witness any significant disruption since the advent of the internet in Nigeria. While other industries such as retail, transport, banking, and entertainment continue to witness new innovations, the same can’t be said of the construction industry in Nigeria.

KonstructApp is riding on Nigeria’s fast growing internet population and smartphone usage to transform an entire industry. With a smartphone, and internet connection you may never have to look for clients for your services. KonstructApp wants to make it easy for engineers, architects, surveyors and various other construction service providers including artisans to get clients through the click of a button.

According to its founder, Taye Olajide; “The platform is equally cost-effective and time-saving, whether you need an experienced plumber, electrician, painter, skilled labour, or wish to connect with registered professionals in the industry, KonstructApp is built to deliver all these and more to you at the speed of light and at an affordable rate. We are also creating opportunity for insurance scheme for every service request to further provide clients with confidence of service delivery.”

Construction service providers who use KonstructApp are guaranteed payment upon a successful job completion or in milestones. The app also provides access to verified construction equipment/machinery providers.

To register as a service provider on KonstructApp you would have to complete an expression of interest form (using this link: https://blnk.in/XyUQky) after which an official from KonstructApp will contact you for verification and possible activation. The platform available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, is also available for web based users via konstructapp.com
