A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, Mr. Moshood Salvador, on Sunday, depicted a national head of the gathering, Bola Tinubu, as a blessing not exclusively toward the South-West, however the whole country.

Salvador addressed columnists on the sidelines of the yearly Ramadan Lecture he sorted out at his living arrangement in Lagos, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.

Promotion He said Tinubu had contributed colossally to the improvement of Lagos State mainly, and the advancement of its occupants.

Salvador, a previous Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, said there was no chance anybody could separate from the exponential development the country had recorded since 1999 from the vision of Tinubu.

Promotion He denounced the ongoing remark made by Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State that godfatherism was an issue in Lagos that occupants expected to dispose of, for genuine advancement.

Salvador portrayed the representative's remark as pointless trespass, saying the general population of the state never grumbled of the issue.

He said Tinubu was the objective of El-Rufai's statement as he (Tinubu) was the most compelling figure in the state's political atmosphere.

The APC chieftain encouraged all right natured occupants to criticize the senator's remark. Salvador brought up that numerous issues were asking for consideration in Kaduna State and asked El-Rufai to address them as opposed to coming to Lagos to discuss godfatherism.

"It is imperative to let the legislative leader of Kaduna realize that it isn't right for him to come to Lagos and begin discussing godfatherism.

"We don't have any issue with pioneers in Lagos and El-Rufai should mind his business instead of coming here to disclose to us what isn't.

"We know about major issues in Kaduna; the issue of unpaid pay rates, the issue of killings and assaults on honest individuals.

El-Rufai has not tended to all these, and he is discussing an express that is working. "We would not support superfluous assaults on our pioneers. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has done incredibly well for the country and the state especially.

"He established the framework for the development of the state's IGR from N400million in 1999 to the billions that it is today.

"It is highly unlikely we can discuss a cutting edge Lagos without referencing Tinubu. He is a blessing to the Yoruba race, second just to Awolowo. We regard him a great deal and would not approve assaults on him," he said. (NAN)
