These ones should forget it. No reversal will happen. Emir Sanusi has been stirring the hornets nest for some time now by speaking the truth and blaming the Northern elites for the woes bedeviling them. So, the hurriedly dismantling of the kano emirates and further decimation of his power has the tacit support of these slighted Northern elites, with the Presidency and Sultan included.. So, No going back. He should try and start adjusting to his new realities or simply resign. 2 Likes |

All the huge underdevelopment index mentioned is the more reason why you need more Emirates that take care of the underserved members of the community. One Emir cannot oversee the whole of kano. |
