Lauretta Onochie, an aide to President Muhammadu Buhari on social media, is known for making unguarded statements about several issues, most recently about Atiku. She was in the news late last year for posting fake photographs allegedly of the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential rally where money was packaged with food and handed over to attendees. She was later exposed and ridiculed by Nigerians.


In spite of her excesses, she has not been apparently sued by anyone, thus emboldening her guts to promote falsehoods, defamation, and campaign of calumny, all for the mere reason of gaining political points against the opposition.

But now, nemesis might just be about to catch up with her. In a tweet credited to her, Onochie allegedly said that Atiku is on the security watch list of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
