Democracy places the deciding factor of leadership and government institutionalization merely on the substance of numbers, yes, just Numbers. It has nothing to do with how good, how bad how capable, but rather " how many. When All or almost all says yea and Nay, we others must all join too, and say the same. This might have proven close to effective for some few places in the world, but the likelihood of this succeeding in dear Nigeria is bleak, and hopelessly faint. Solely for the reason that Nigeria holds with great misfortune a record, of the world's largest aggregation, of very ambitious idiots for leaders. Making the contraption a small cut away world, were idiots run themselves to the helplessly sore and gory spectacle of the wise, who can do nothing but wait, watch and speculate, but can change nothing.




The idiots are favoured with numbers obviously, and hence would rather die than vote anyone not of the them.
The idiocy in itself is not restricted to age tribe or colour this was why able bodied youths across various regions in Nigeria with fully matured brains could lay down so many of their lives in the just concluded elections, because two senile old men were in a contest on who to rule over them.
The Intellects are fleeing, chimmanda, Soyinka, Nigerian physicians and many others are moving in numbers. A lot more are on the ready, I think democracy is wrong, (for Nigeria)... to put properly. Something else should be tried.

Democracy is not mob rule or mobocracy that we now have in Nigeria where every idiot is allowed to have a say.

In real democracies like that of Greece and Rome, only those with vested interests and stakes in society are allowed to vote.

That being said if you were not educated, owned a house and a family man of descent means whom others in society looked up to, you were simply a Pleb.

The US originally practised a semblance of such until the suffragette movement spoilt everything for everyone. Note to self: Never ever give women the right to vote!

In same US, one would also need to pass a simple written test to be allowed to vote. This all ended when the JEWDICIARY ruled it to be discriminatory againts niggers.
