Ahead of the November 16 governorship election, a group of young men and women in Kogi state have adopted ‘Salvage Kogi 2019’ as its mobilization platform.

In a press statement signed by Ahmadu Abdullahi, the group vowed to present the state with a credible alternative.

The group vowed to mobilize the entire state for a journey to prosperity through enthroning a new, purposeful, resourceful and people oriented leadership in the next gubernatorial election.

The group which has launched her logo, website and jingles said they are not out to fight, insult or witch-hunt any politician but to stop the twenty eight years of vision less leadership the state has faced and still facing.

The group whose composition is still sketchy said its mandate is to salvage, reposition and empower Kogi for productivity for the good the suffering people.
