Corrupt Politicians, Shady Public Office Holders Panic As Col. Hamid Ali (Rtd) May Head EFCC

Col. Hamid Ali (rtd.), the Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service may be appointed the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, a Presidency source has hinted.
Among names penned down for the position, the President is said to have preferred Col. Ali for the position.

Meanwhile, the source said that the choice for Col. Ali is to give a boost to President Muhamamadu Buhari’s anti-corruption fight.

Col. Hamid Ali (rtd.) is one of the no-nonsense and fearless close allies of President Buhari who is believed to have what it takes to bring down corrupt elements in Nigeria.
