Why will an 18yrs old boy still be in a secondary school? That's an adult for crying out loud. Only adult in the midst of children will have such sinister motive. Most of those kids will end up with broken arms and legs for jumping down from the first floor of that school building. They should be expelled from that school. 3 Likes |

bestgamer:Tear gas only. There is no mention of a gun in the article. Seems Nairaland doesn't scrutinize articles from bloggers before moving it to the front page. Where did you all see gun in the press release? 2 Likes |

Some Port Harcourt Men do the same. Like father like sons of that land. Dem no dey fear anything. May be we should call them Port hack cults “Rivers of Blood, ” or Nigerian Latinos. Na by force to become Alpacino? Na by force to become a mafia, Una no fit apply with holy wood academy go shoot movie. Some of these kind of children rule you as politicians now as Adults. So they now write with guns since technology reduced the used of pen , pencils, rulers and erasers. Prison awaits them to get there Secondary school certificate . There parents should also be arrested and interogated. This kind of children would change the position of Nigeria in the list of top 10 most dangerous country to live when you ask a search engine. What a shame. This is not America, this is Nigeria. |

"The boy brought the tear gas from home which is part of the belongings of his deceased elder brother". So,canisters, guns and ammunitions belongs to policemen and their families and cannot be retrieved upon their demise, and they will now fall into the wrong hands to commit harvoc. Our policy makers have failed in all strata of the society n governance. 2 Likes |

mvem:What are they being arrested for? These are secondary school kids who are inquisitive by nature. Their explanation is plausible, so there won't be a case of keeping them in cell. |

I plead with the poster who is fond of posting pornographic images on nairaland public page should please desist from this act or else God's curses would rest on the fellow. Not all nairaland members are warp minded and also there are Muslims faithfuls who are fasting. 1 Like |

This what my friend told me... And police are saying different thing..... We heard that the out going SS3 and SS2 have a clash and today they was going to be a fight between the two classes. They planned to bring in different weapons for the fight (war). So some SS2 boys decided to bring in their own weapons yesterday maybe to come and show their mates that the were ready for the fight. They brought in guns and grenade teargas. While they wear inspecting their weapons one of them mistakenly detonated one of the grenade teargas and all hell broke loose. 1 Like |

chimhigher:This your reasoning is flawed my brother. Education is a necessity and basic right for all children. A child that is not 18 and above is not capable of making rational decisions hence you are mandated to give them the tools needed to make informed choices as they grow to become adults, formal education is one of those tools. |
