@ Anonimi
Bros take am easy, we know where you dey drive go.

i fit thank u small, if u mean like i do that you cannot, FOR EXAMPLE, give your employee or contractor (political office holder) N=2m make im come give u N=100K motor car. To come rub insult upon injury e come put im private company to maintain & manage the taxi cab while collecting a nice slice of the revenue from your transport biusiness.
Only 9ja mugus who delude themselves into thinking they are individually smart will applaud such a lousy arrangement.

It means Nigeria has a world standard football pitch, we should be proud and wish for more
Re: Beautiful Pictures Of Teslim Balogun Stadium by proudly9ja(m): 3:53pm On Sep 29, 2010
Good aestethics,

But why the Tinubu logo? Or have we adopted it as Lagos state logo now?
Re: Beautiful Pictures Of Teslim Balogun Stadium by omar22(m): 3:54pm On Sep 29, 2010
If it's d one of a white man, you'll praise the HELL out of it.

So someone cant have an opinion,  the stadium was recently complete lets compare it with one thats a year old than the one opposite (national stadium)

The Vicente Calderon was built in 1971 compare it to Teslim Balogun or the National stadium that was built in 1972,

This is not a case praising what a white man does

Ok The Rio de Jeniro (the Maracana) was built in 1950  and Brazilians are not White see how they maintained it

Dumbo, for how long are you going to crawl? How old is Teslim Balogun stadium? 3 years completed in 2007 since it started in 1984, why do a stadium needs to be refurbished when its still 2 years old?
Re: Beautiful Pictures Of Teslim Balogun Stadium by kashmo: 4:30pm On Sep 29, 2010
This is so nice! I remember when the stadium was non-exitence way back; i used to think another waste project by the lagos state government, but I've been proven wrong it seems cheesy

That's the only word befitting some people's opinion sometimes (I don't know about this case 0_
Law of natural selection: Some people are just not fit to have opinions.

If Naija get honorable men to lead us, this country go still better.

No be picture be the problem but can it be maintained? In Nigeria, we have fine structures but maintainance has always been the problem.
Re: Beautiful Pictures Of Teslim Balogun Stadium by Kilode1: 5:50pm On Sep 29, 2010
Nice for now, As long as they don't allow Agberos and omo-oniles to use the stadium as their personal gym and toilet.
Re: Beautiful Pictures Of Teslim Balogun Stadium by FACE(m): 5:56pm On Sep 29, 2010
The football pitch is nice and the grass looks good, which is what matters to players. However, the stadium itself is ordinary and plain. The covered section is about 10% of the entire stadium and the roofing of the stand is plain. Apart from the pitch, there is nothing to oooh and aaah about the stadium.

It's really beautiful!!!
Re: Beautiful Pictures Of Teslim Balogun Stadium by shadrach77: 6:03pm On Sep 29, 2010
it's obvious the original poster of this thread is ill-informed and un-exposed - ordinary division one team stadium in the uk is better than that - those pictures are a celebration of mediocrity cry cry cry cry
Re: Beautiful Pictures Of Teslim Balogun Stadium by lannre(m): 6:24pm On Sep 29, 2010
oh ! Lord we have suffered so much in this country ! we hardly know the difference between responsibilities and obligations. How long are we going to turn our rights to privileges . Praising Government for building Stadium and you call it "beautiful " Are we so poor ? Stop it ! The country is richer than that , you deserve more than all this film trick !

MR CORRECTIONER,

Why the "DUMBO" ?.?.? Undecided

Has he no right to his opinion anymore?

If you follow through the guys thread you would see how he accused me over my comments!!! all I said is that we cant keep on Crawling anymore, This is a stadium that took 23 years to complete!!! Costing over N1bn for 23000+ capacity,

When you look at Soccer city in SA or the Bird Cage in China that took less than 5 years to complete and we are talking about 90000+ all seater stadiums,
Re: Beautiful Pictures Of Teslim Balogun Stadium by Okukk(m): 6:55pm On Sep 29, 2010
this is beautiful. Our problems has always been poor maintance culture. If this spirit is sustained, then we are in the path to a better tomorrow.

If Naija get honorable men to lead us, this country go still better.

actually the man i.e. "Baba God" told me confidentially that he is coming down to 9ja to start fixing our problems and putting those honourable men to lead you, even if you continue to seat on your bums and passively encourgae the leaders to scam you while you adore and praise them grin
abeg, wake up from your slumber!!!
dust your bums, plan to register to vote and start convincing others to also register then the politicians will start to realise that you matter and take you into account seriously when they are WORKING. You can decide to matter or not- your choice, your consequences.

IT looks very nice but the track around it will make it a bit more difficult to see the players if you are seated in the upper tier
