The owner is gonna travel meaning there's a huge chance the owner would be around for a couple of days atleast. Use those precious days to get acquainted with the dog with the owner around.


In fact the owner the owner has a huge role to play there. Don't listen to anyone telling you to throw food at the dog. It could eat germs through that.

Feed the dog. Food food food... both of u will become best of friends. Dont try touching him just food

If you can sacrifice a day or two, you can get him to be your friend.

Bring him small snacks every 30 to 45mins and stay with him for at least 5min after giving him the snack.

He will stop barking after a short time

Introduce yourself to the dog by giving it good now the owner is around

This is a true life story, my neighbour's landlady forced a local dog on this guy and though he tried to feed it for like 4 days the dog was always aggressive until the day it bit him.
He went for the necessary treatment and starved the dog for 7 good days but he made sure there was water in the dog house or kernel I think. He will just use a stick to push the bowl of water to the dog lol.
After the 7th day he fed the dog with rice he bought from a nearby eatry, men you need to see the way the dog rose from the dead and managed to eat the food.

Since that day till after 3 years the guy relocated I never heard my guy complain about the dog.
