Newly sworn-in Yobe state governor, Mai Mala Buni on Thursday, May 30, married a new wife. Governor Buni married his predecessor’s daughter, Adama Ibrahim Gaidam, barely 24 hours after taking oath of office.

According to the report, the marriage was conducted around 12 noon by Sheikh Abubakar Adam, and took place at Sabon Fegi residence of the former governor in Damaturu, the state capital. Buni and Gaidam left for Abuja immediately after the marriage
