The Surveillance Group of Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA) and the Monitoring and Enforcement Team, checking the wholesomeness of products in some supermarkets along Ikorodu recently discovered some expired products.

In a routine monitoring exercise by the Agency, expired products were removed from the shelves of some supermarket stores along Ikorodu.

According to the Agency, the monitoring team discovered some expired products on the shelves of those supermarkets during the exercise and immediately removed them for destruction to prevent eventual sales to unsuspecting consumers.
