Not sure if this in the right section. Apparently Geckos are scared of egg shells broken in two halves.

Does anyone have any experience with ‘scaring’ then away using this technique? Has it worked for anyone?

First time I'm hearing about this, I think I have to try this, I hate geckos.

funny I haven't tried any, but I read the garlic and salt are effective

My aunt makes use of garlic though. Place it a small container with little water inside.

I think it works for only a short period of time sha

Yes, it works. No health hazard, no extra cost. You just have to know how to use them and where to place them.
