Who receives money without counting? Who gives money to a total stranger to go into the market to look for phone for him? Wouldn't it have been easier for the stranger to just disappear with the money than to come back with this at the risk of getting caught?

That act is highly prevalent at the Computer village. That's what they are known for. Even people outside Lagos know that too.

Perhaps he just came to Nigeria as a wretched newbie from one of those highly impoverished countries where 15k is equivalent to 150k.. So he thought that was some huge dough. But wait! He's supposed to be conscious of the exchange rate before stepping in right? But he wasn't. Could he be brainless I think so
