KazeKage1: Hashirama will likely take his time to explain how he and Madara fought for days till he ran out of chakra. Why do i get the feeling Hashirama had the chance to kill Madara but took pity on him or maybe healed him(an act that will forever scar Madara whose hatred for the Senju clan knows no bounds).

If Tsunade can use genjutsu then it's pretty obvious Hashirama can and might have used genjutsu in his fight with Madara.

It's possible to be blinded by passion. At least, partially blinded. Those same people who said Edo Nagato came back with bad legs because he died with bad legs said also that Madara returned as he did because Kabutomaru tweaked his edo tensei. Selective reading makes for very annoying arguments.
