Class action in the works.

Boeing is in for a rough year.

Accident happens but most accidents are cause by human error.
Boeing are to be blame for this but let's look at it from anoda point of view. if he was driving and had an accident, will the family sue the car production company? or if he was killed by some armed men. The accident could av be diverted just like the one obasanjo board but God knows beta.

Let the family let go of the case, God will take control...... thousand have been dying in plane crash due to some pilot error and life still moves on................... RIP to the lost victims

Not true. 737 max 8 isn't flying anywhere in d world at d moment. It has been grounded & there's no timetable 4d lifting of its ban. That shows that there are issues with d plane
Were they not flying before it grounded..were they falling off the sky..haven't they being moving them from one airport to another without passenger since the grounding...

So 2 isolated cases in Africa and Asia with mostly inexperienced pilots means something is wrong with the plane. By the way the co-pilot did not have enough flying hours to fly a 737 in the US..the main pilot was scheduled for a training on 737 max the month the incident happened.

They mostly want to cut cost by employing inexperienced pilots and not attending trainings..its an African thing..it led to loss of lives unfortunately..

Let's wait for the full report in any case..

The lawyers think otherwise. They think they have a good case against Boeing.

Plus, each accident case is treated on its individual merit. It is not all cases that you cannot hold the manufacturing company responsible.

There are instances of manufacturers' defects in cars that lead to accidents and have led to several lawsuits.

If a car's pedal is faulty from the factory, as was the case of Toyota about a decade ago, they have to be held accoutable.

See https://www.cbsnews.com/news/toyota-unintended-acceleration-has-killed-89/

That is one of reasons car manufacturers recall their products in millions.

Our third world mentality probably has its own place when the issue concerns our way of life and the like. We can always hand everything to God who is the ultimate justice giver because we seem powerless, helpless vulnerable without a system for redress; that dispense justice with fairness regardless of status.

But when we are involved with people who have established methods (established by the use of the brain that God endowed all humans with) and who value one single human life above any other thing, we just have to wait and see the process to its logical conclusion.

They don't celebrate thousands of people dying as if humans are goats; they will always look to find out the possible cause(s) of the crash and make amends, including sanctions to any entity found culpable.

They do that to prevent future occurence. That is what you see is responsible for the phenomenal progress they have achieved on behalf of humanity.

All this u have said are irrelevant. According 2u

"The same 737 max 8 is being flown by airlines in Europe and us without issues..."

U spoke in d present which is highly false. If u say nothing is wrong with d plane, then u must no something that d world aviation industry doesn't no. U no better than everybody. U shouldn't b on nairaland. U should b working in FAA or ICAO to overturn d ban on max 737

You have already made your conclusion.

What other reports are you waiting for? You have done your own findings, haven't you?

If the two cases were that isolated (within few months) as you claimed, would they have grounded that model in the whole world? Did they take such measure after the first one happened?

Poor people.

I'm certain most of them are angry because they've never flown in an airplane before. grin

Boeing will be sued. Boeing will be made to pay for taking Prof away from us this early.

It wasn't God's will that Prof be dead; it was Boeing's carelessness that led to it.

Most of dis airplane manufacturers will always try thier best to assign blame towards pilot error, so as to cover dia useless errors. Boeing should rather make plans of coming up with a new structurally design plane, rather than trying to improve the software of the failed Boeing 737 Max, we dnt want to record incident of air crash with dis useless Boeing 737 max
