Nothing to worry about, CIC now carry out further check up on some approved applications. If you didn't use any fraudulent document you shouldn't be scared. Feel free to contact VFS to ask if your passport is ready for pickup, if it is not then wait a little while and they will get back to you . Good luck

Thank you for your response. But my question is that my cic is still showing submitted, it's not showing approved yet.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by ralfudoh(m): 8:53pm On Jul 02, 2019
It will only show approved after your passport has been stamped and dispatched. Right now your application is under secondary review for authenticity of documents. If you didn't use any fake documents (bank statement in particular), then no need to panic. But if.............

Hello guys, please i need help. I don almost cry all my eyes out and I have prayed and I'm getting tired.

I applied in Feb18.
Biometric request was Feb 20. I did it on Feb 21.
I got a medical request on May 10. I passed it June 2 according to my cic account.

I got passport request June 13, I submitted June14.
On June 14 after submitting passport, I got a mail from Vfs saying;

Dear Applicant,

We would like to inform you that your application has been processed in our office on 14 Jun 2019
You can track the status of your application through our website mentioned below using your tracking number.

Anytime I track it, it says;

Visa application, Id ###### is being processed at our canada Visa office.

I was told it only takes 3 -5 days. My people, since June14 till now, nothing yet, this has affected my performance at work.

Please help, what do I do, what is wrong? Did I even get the right mail from Vfs? Is tgat the mail you get after submitting passport for stamping?

Sorry about the inconvenience. You should have received your passport however from previous experience this glitches happen. I'll advice that you place a direct call to know the real update on your application. 0815 019 9900 that's vfs lagos contact number. Explain your concerns to them directly. It will end in praise.

P.S: You should also know that cic undergoes
secondary background check even after passport request and that may be a factor.

Hi All,

I booked a VFS appointment to apply for visa. However, after downloading the appointment letter, I could not open it because it is password protected. Does anyone have an idea of what the password should be?

I have tried the actual password I used in registering to no avail.

Thank you.
Vfs in Nigeria as a lot of technical issues. By the way you don't need to book an appointment. It is technically useless just make sure you get there early. When I did mine I got there early and spent 25mins to get everything done. Plus this is a very busy period so you have to be prompt.

good afternoon all,
have really learnt from this trend, please i just got an invitation letter for a half sponsored conference in canada, please what are the necessary requirements that i need to submit and what are my chances for the visa

pls all
Simply put your chances depend on your home ties, employment viability and most importantly if the conference is of a reasonable expense to a VO. Also your previous travel history matters a lot. So I'll advice that you carefully highlight this factors in your application. All the best.

Please I need some help with the following:

1) How do you upload the proof of means of financial of your second sponsor via the online route?

2) Is that space for proof of means of financial support for all financial documents including; SOA, sponsorship letter and affidavit of sponsorship, or do you add the sponsorship letter and affidavit under client information?

3) Do we need to print and sign the family information? I know the application form we don't need to but the family I'm not quite sure.

Please help guide, finally started my online application process today and it's a bit confusing
Any documents regarding your sponsor should be placed in the "proof of sponsor" section. Any document relating to you should otherwise be placed in the client information section. If you are submitting online you aren't required to print out or sign any documents. The agreement you tick yes to when you are about to pay your application fee covers the signature.

Good evening to everyone.

I re-applied on June 21st and I'm wondering if there's any current timeline for upfront medicals to be updated in CIC account...?? I know it's too soon to start worrying but my intent is to secure my TRV before Fall 2019 by God's grace. I contacted Q Life Clinic where I did my medicals and they said the results were sent to the embassy on June 29th. Just wondering!

Hope to hear from anyone who probably have an idea about my question.

Thanks fam!

Meaning of Vague
not clearly expressed; stated in indefinite terms.
not having a precise meaning.
not clearly defined, grasped, or understood; indistinct; slight.
not clearly felt or sensed; somewhat subconscious.
not thinking or expressing one’s thoughts clearly or precisely.
lacking expression; vacant.
not sharply outlined; haz

If the VO write this word (VAGUE) on your GCMS note, know that your STATEMENT OF PURPOSE/LETTER OF EXPLANATION was very poor. Try to work on it in your re-application.

Thanks for your response Qudkom, in this case where I have 2 sponsors, with their 2 letters and affidavits, and two different statement of accounts which will amount to a lot of pages, how do I put them all under that proof of sponsor? Thanks again

Good Morning all. Has anyone able to collect statement of account of recent for TRV purpose? Access bank just informed me their new policy is to send the SOA to the Canadian embassy themselves. Not sure if this applies to all bank.
You can choose the one you want. Printed and stamped or sending to the embassy directly. Not all countries are even on the E statement platform

Well you scan sponsor A's documents in a cohesive manner and then kick start sponsor B's document starting by scanning the letter of sponsor and ID Card first.

Hi guys, I am here again to offer help to discerning new students planning a transition to Canada. I just got off the phone with a female MSc student who is Brock University-bound. I have been able to connect her to a decent property where she will be staying for the duration of her studies. If you are a master's or phd student heading to Brock, but stuck with your transition plans, send me an email. To get a response from me, be sure to introduce yourself and add a brief note about your program of studies. I want to be clear that I will not be responding to anonymous emails.

There is a gentleman on this page who is also seeking help about doctoral studies at Queens or U of Toronto. You can also do same. And be advised that I am a Ghanaian, resident in Canada. My purpose on this page is to help those who need it the most. Cheers!

if the sponsor is your parent, then all of these (proof of relationships)should be scanned in the client information section in a chronological order

If it's third party, then the sponsor's documents should be scanned in the proof of funds section.

I hope this helps
