You can always get anyone that is convenient for you money-wise and time-wise. Bottom line is that you will always submit your docs irrespective of you decide to choose.

Hi Dilodavid,
Please does walk-in service mean you can submit at anytime or any day without an appointment?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by ozymes: 4:54pm On Dec 17, 2019
Yes, except public holidays, weekends and force Majeure days

Please All guru's should help us out. We are in great gbege. My hubby applied for Visit Visa using an Agent, thou he was granted but

To know where he stands, i suggest he reapplies again and state all the facts.

He might most likely be refused but atleast he would know his stand which will guide in subsequent application, if this one is not granted or whether to stay off UK for a while.

Good day NL
My question is that,is it possible to join my father in the UK,he has a British passport,I am already 29.Can he still file for me.looking forward for replies.

It depends. Was he British already before you were born?

If he is...then you have right to British citizenship.

If he only recently acquired British citizenship...then that might be hard.

Your hubby needs to meet with the agent to advise if the agent entered his details on the online form as the person who filled the form on your husband behalf.

If this is so...it makes it easy for the UK office to forgive him.

Irrespective...tell your hubby to be truthful when he reapply.

As in...he cannot lie. He should be 100 percent honest. It doesn't mean his visa will be automatically granted. But it increases his chances in the future.

Thank you for your response. If I decided to cancel the application and start all over, how soon can I get a refund of the $128 paid?[/quote]

Mine is less than 2 weeks. Application canceled November 18. I got back my money November 30.

The eco was crazy and denied unjustly. Its better to complain about this and explain in details how the eco erred. This is just a form of extortion, there have been success stories of those that complained without paying a dime and were overtuned. Check seeyat, justblow posts

Success2011:
There was a consistent salary deposit of 270k in the period covered by the acc statement. Surely, the money came from salary deposits. From the letter, the ECO acknowledged employment documents.

The agent said he filled the form as if my husband filled it. What do we do now?

I wonder if the veterans (Justwise, ekpotek etc) on this group will advise you further.

How long ago was this? I will advise him to do the following:

1. Get him to read the last 20-30 pages of this thread to understand how to apply for a UK visa himself
2. Start compiling documents
3. re-apply and be honest and truthful in his new application

To get some help on here, you will need to provide more information that will help his application.

E.g. What job does he do? How much does he earn? What is the disposable income. what is the purpose of his visit to the UK (this time)? etc
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 5:21am On Dec 19, 2019
Agent filled it and signed off that your husband filled it... Then his visa was cancelled with prejudice at the point of entry for false information.... application was riddled with so many things that were not true
Fake salary
Fake job title
Fake travel history
Fake visa stamps perhaps...
sister forget United Kingdom for now..
They will always tell you nice things ohh u can apply later... yes because that’s the right thing to say but in reality they totally despise deceit. Once you are caught, you will need the luck of everyone in this world to ever get their visit visa again. Honesty pays.

Please All guru's should help us out. We are in great gbege. My hubby applied for Visit Visa using an Agent, thou he was granted but he was refused entry at Heathrow Airport based on the fact that all his response to their questions doesn't tally with what is on their database. At the end, his visa was cancelled. He wasn't banned, he was told by the officer to do it himself and he will be given. The issue is the agent claimed he is Senior petrochemical engineer where as what he does is totally different from that( More of Construction Company C.E.O) and the agent also claimed he earns 688k plus after tax( it is not up to that amount that he earns). He also mentioned he has traveled to Germany, Canada, etc (lies). He had a virgin passport with no old passport number. The refusal entry letter summed up on he using an agent who claimed countries he has never been to. Pls how do we rectify all this please. Please don't add more by insulting.

SERIOUS GBEGE SEF. TELL UR HUBBY TO FORGET UK FOR NOW , HE ALREADY MESSED THINGS UP AT THE POE. HE SHOULD HAVE ASKED THE AGENT ABT THE INFOS USED FOR HIS VISA APPLICATION, BUT SEEMS YOU GUYS GOT CARRIED AWAY. However, The agent submitted a Fake statement of account or Maybe he didnt use his real name? cos some agents could go as far as buying an account statement from a bank... Secondly, He submitted copies of fake schengen visas. 688k salary.... i doff cap for that agent sha .

Hello gurus! Pls help on this refusal letter! I actually have a travel history to china on my previous passport but due to some situation beyond my control,i couldn’t include the copies of the previous visas and stamps to china at the time of applying! But that is available now!

Pls help on the other reasons my application was refused! How do i go about it? The extra credits are from side businesses i do which i get paid in cash or transfers! I guess they need an explanation for that? Pls help me on what to do and how! Thanks!
If not for the other credits into your account they talked about, I would have advised you to complain about this decision. I don't understand why one would provide work papers to show that he/she has been working for some years before applying for visa and ECO will still say no information was provided to explain the source of the opening balance. Do they expect one to have zero opening balance prior to visa application? When you have low opening balance they will see it as an avenue to deny an application, when the opening balance is huge they will need information as to how it was accumulated even when an applicant must have submitted employment papers. I don't know what these ECOs want.

I was actually shocked,I think the ECO knew the whole 'Explain your extra income' wasn't enough to refuse,so they had to include the 'travel history'!

You advice i reapply and include copies of my previous visas & stamps and explain the other credits? And everything should be ok? I just need you guys opinion on here before going ahead. Thank you!
The travel history shouldn't be an issue. People get UK visas without travel history. Did you explain the source of the other credits in your account with paper evidences? If you did and also, your employment papers showed that you have been working for some time prior to the visa application, that should be enough to address the issue of the opening balance. Go for review and also, reapply if you wish to. If the review is positive which means decision overturned, you can always cancel your visa application. Review doesn't really take time.

Apart from the additional income he included in his application, he must have provided documents like employment letter, confirmation of employment letter, letter of introduction, payslips and prolly promotion letter from his office to corroborate the fact that he has been earning the stated salary from his job. These documents are always more than enough to take care of the source of one's opening balance at the time of visa application. Yet the ECO still mentioned that he/she didn't know the source of the opening balance. What's your take on that?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 9:19pm On Dec 19, 2019
Assumption is the mother of all problems... I’m not referring to his main employment.. the ECO also talked about his additional income that he stated ... he says he also earns 1.5million naira additionally to his salary yearly.. did he include proof of this sum? I strongly doubt! We know time and again never to include anything we have no backing whatsoever... if it pinches u so much to mention it then show proofs...

Also I noted his expenditure for this trip was way over 2 times his disposable income so pls d applicant, if he doesn’t mind... should come and tell us exactly what he was planning...

I have noted all you have said. My point actually is, how else can one possibly prove source of opening balance since employment documents are no longer sufficient for this purpose according to ECOs in recent time?
