2. My mom is a British citizen and she would send me an Invitation letter stating i will stay with her. (NB i will fund the trip)
3. My monthly earnings is 500k
4. My first question (what do you advise should be the monthly expense)
5. what do you advice i put as my budget for the trip that will fly for myself, wife and kid?

Please advice me on how to package it in order to stand a chance

Pls house a colleague filled his application but chose No in the travel history question " have you been to anyother country in the last 10 years" and he has been to Ghana on a couple of times with the history on his passport.

Can they hold this oversight against his application?

All the Guru in the house, kindly advise if l should ask for administrative review or re-apply for my last refusal below. Despite l attached the evidence of the other regular income (Pension statement of account) because l was working with a bank when UK issued me the last visa. but now l am self employed. I was just trying to establish home ties with my pension with my previous employer which has accumulated to the sum of N1.7m. Unfortunately the ECO use this to shot me.

Please advise.
Thank you.

Hi house.. I've been following this thread and I want to thank everyone for there contributions ..

I have this problem...I kind of can't find my documents checklist again. Is this going to be an issue when I go to collect my passport from tls.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Ibukun120: 10:10am On Jan 15, 2020
Hello Good Morning,

I'm a student and i was denied a visitor's visa to the UK. I applied on Dec 6 for a 20 days holiday to visit my Uncle, Aunt and their kids. I budgeted 350k for the trip ( 200k - Dad, 150k - Uncle in the UK). Kindly help me check my refusal letter and advise. The refusal seems to be due to my lack of proper explanation of the documents submitted and not because of insufficient funds. It seems i can't appeal.

NOTE
=====

My dad works as a senior lecturer at a state university and also practices privately as a Lawyer (didn't state this). We submitted a bank statement with an opening balance of over 600k and closing bal of 415k. We submitted his promotion letter which states the earns 1.6 million/year (this is exclusive of other allowances that will raise the money to about 250k per month and over 2.4 million/year).

I also submitted my bank statement where my Dad sends money to me for upkeep in school. I also submitted letter of introduction from school, my admission letter, school fees receipt, school ID card, departmental dues (document for 300 Level).

@demmy I had to go through your posts because I remembered you. You visited in 2009.. later you told us you were serving a 10 yr ban(sorry)...
also same you has applied afterwards during this period till now about 3 times(don’t know if it’s more) and have been refused on these 3 occasions .. one thing is for sure, leave them alone. They will not give you the visa... your credibility has been at stake and with d ban and refusal letters you have posted on this group, it all looks desperate because all the proof of finances stories keep changing on the applications. Sorry.

However, the remainder of information does not demonstrate your regular attendance on the stated course

This statement means that your introduction letter from uni should confirm what course you are doing, what level you are in, ur attendance level, when your expected back in uni and preferably when your next exams is due. This way the ECO establish your tie to the country as a student.

@Ibukun210 Account balance of 415k and you would remove 200k.. kai this was not good. So what happens to your father’s other financial responsibilities when you take out 200k?

Thanks. My introduction letter clearly states my level, the course i'm doing but it doesn't state when i would be back.

What do you mean by "Attendance Level". If i decide to reapply (School is going on long holiday on January 27th to resume in probably May - Next session calendar not yet out). How do i go about that. NOTE: I am in 300Level, so after the long holiday, i am going to my final year.

If i decide to reapply (School is going on long holiday on January 27th). I intend to spend 250K (i'm only budgeting for flight, as i am going to be staying at my Uncle's place and he will provide all other things). Is it advisable if i put that my Dad will contribute - 150k and Uncle - 100k or the other way around (exchange rate is better).

OR can i state that my Uncle will sponsor the whole trip

your father’s salary and account bal of 415kcan’t afford a holiday right now for you.
If you then want to use your uncle as total sponsor then you have to discuss with him.. do you know his financial situation as well? He will then need to provide his own statement of account alongside other documents and proofs.

My uncle was also listed as a sponsor and he provided his statement of account, tax papers, utility bill in my application. What i am asking , is that won't it raise any flag if my uncle foots the whole bill (he is capable).

The letter should say something like you are a full time student and you attend classes regularly. That you are a final year student and will be expected back in school on so so date to complete your final year project and other requirements of the course so as to be awarded the degree BSc so so so

Good Afternoon to the travel gurus in the house.
I am actually writing this on behalf of a friend who wants to process a UK visit visa. She runs a registered business that has a turnover of about 15m per annum but has not been paying taxes until recently because of this UK application so that she can get a tax clearance form, but due to the high tax rate, she had to devalue her actual income so she can pay less. Is it possible to be denied based on this? Does the UK embassy confirm how much tax was paid on the company account(sole proprietorship)? Is there a way to go around this because the initial tax amount issued by the FIRS was just too high.

A response will be highly appreciated. Thank you

People have mentioned times without number on here that you shld separate your business account from personal account when applying for UK visa.

She needs to pay herself monthly salary into the personal account so she can work out her DI which will guide her to determine her budget for the trip.

If she separated it then the tax shldnt affect her personal bank account
