Yes going there to visit a friend.

He used hotel accommodation the first time he went there because he doesn't know anyone then.
But now his wife's friend introduced her husband to him. The guy in UK promised to accommodate him
anytime he travels to UK.

He can go anytime since there is someone to receive him. He needs to know some details about the person in the UK. If asked, he should be ready to explain how he came about this friend since he didn't declare this new friend in his visa application.

I didn't pay a dime and it took less than 3 days but you need to know your tax office because it will be activated from your tax office.

I didn't contact CAC after the activation of my TIN but I just noticed the company name is still active on CAC website despite the fact that my TIN was dormant.

royalmu:
How much did you pay to get this done and how long was the process? Also, after the activation of your Tax Identification Number (TIN), did you contact CAC before the status of your company became active or it was automatic?

Thanks fisherlala. But I will like to clarify something. I couldn't understand wat the ECO was talking about at first paragraph in the refusal letter.
1. The 1500 pounds in my application is for me own personal trip expense my husband's own is not included. My husband expense for his own trip is 1800 pounds. And our daughter is a year old (nfant), infant sit on lap in flight.
2. My uncle has a 5 bedroom apartment which I submitted his home insurance and utility bill.
3. We didn't state my uncle as sponsor. He is only providing accommodation for us.
4. We had more than twice the amount of trip expense in our closing balance each.
5. For the monthly expenses of 50k I already explained in the additional page
of the application form that there are some month I spend more than 50k.
So I was wondering what happened.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Chpelu: 7:35pm On May 09, 2021
Royalmu thanks so much for your response.
Concerning the company been active on CAC, yes I have checked and it's active.
The bank statement he submitted shows his all his monthly salary from all his sources of income. The only he didn't submit is his payslip from his freelancer project he does with one of the company in he works with.
Also we didn't write a cover letter, we had no ideal about writing a separate letter apart from the one we wrote at the additional information page on the application form online.
My husband wants to reapply in October but he is applying alone. I and baby will apply to visit for Christmas. I just want to know what and what to correct so we don't get another refusal. Thanks

Thanks for throwing more light to this, the only thing I can see again according to the letter is maybe the case worker did not see clearity in your husband’s source of income, maybe the name of his employer wasn’t reflecting consistently in his bank account with the amount he claims he earns (118) every month end and he didn’t explain his other sources of income with appropriate documentations. Note if you are using multiple sources of income you will have plenty explanations to do.
On your own part are you sure after your monthly 50k expenses you have cumulative increase in your bank account leading up to your balance. I think your husband application might have affected yours.
If all these are done I would strongly believe your family have been treated unfairly and you can seek redress.

2. Introductory letter from HR or managemnt staff stating who you are, how long u have been with them, how much u earn etc
3. invoices from business
4. Message/whatsapp conversations with documentary proofs
5. Pension letter

All i can think of is;
-Did you state that his house is 5bedroom as the utility bill and council tax would only show his name and address the Eco might be thinking of that as well.
-The infant is a baby but has expenses like milk and diapers so that is minused from your spending money of £1200.
-Also do you know the conversion rate the embassy uses against the Naira that determines if you had enough money as you say you had twice the amount.

How does a UK tourist visa work for a Nigerian. I intend to meet with my Mexican American girlfriend. She is scared to visit Nigeria because of the security challenges and is ready to meet in any European country. I would really appreciate any warm suggestions on steps to take on how to get a UK tourist visa for September or any European country that would easily grant a tourist visa to a Nigerian. We both intend to spend between 10-14 days on the trip. Thank you for your contribution

Hello Monchat..
310,000 is also perfect. Anything from 200k upwards is OK. If you indicate you earn 310k monthly, then u shld say you spend btw 100-120k monthly. That way they get to see you save more than you spend.

Thank you dear

As life in UK is very expensive regarding hotels and feeding bills, you can consider other European countries with relatively cheaper cost of living e.g Cyprus a lovely country with beautiful weather and cheap cost of living, I will also recommend Bulgaria.
Depending on what you mean by the European countries that will grant easy visa.
Note: Most European Union states share similar requirements when you are applying for tourist visa and they access there tourist visa in almost the same way with most requiring medical Insurance except UK and Ireland.
If you are still going ahead with the choice of UK you can find massive information on this thread on how to go about it.

Yes, we were treated unfairly. You are like the 9th person that mentioned we been treated unfairly.
The ECO that handle our application is a sadist.
All his monthly salary reflected in his account statement. And he gave a full explaination about how his freelancer job is not fixed.

If I want to reapply for me and my baby alone to travel to UK. Do I need to submit my own bank statement for my baby application or my husband bank statement. Or our bank statement is not needed for her application since she is an infant.
Thanks

Since you are applying with your baby you should submit yours, they need to examine your current financial situation, I think your bank statement seem clearer than that of your hubby , if you want your hubby to support the trip let him make a deposit in your account on his name.
Please note do not ignore your child’s expenses when you are calculating your funding for the trip as I know in Ireland babies are paid 30 euro per week for upkeep and the caseworker will look in that direction. ( milk, wipes, pampers etc.)
Also write a letter along with your application explaining why you think your last application was unfairly judged by your caseworker.

After the 10 days in quarantine, are you still required to do a covid test? If yes, how much is the test.
How much does the Test to Release for international travelers cost?
ikenke:
So since you are coming from Nigeria, you can quarantine in any hotel for 10days but you can shorten it to 5days if you do the Test to Release for International travelers. Which allows you to leave Quarantine after 5days if you test negative.

please my company too is should inactive what is the process of getting it change please kind help

Sanmigbola:

My company has been registered since 2004 and I have not paid a dime to CAC till date. I have also used the same company to secure my visa to the UK. The only issue I had was to activate my TIN through FIRS because the company was inactive for some years which was done and I also activated my company account.

Checking it now shows the company is active.

Not sure it is right to select self service and request for assisted scanning at the same time. They do not match. Self service is for those that wish to upload their documents on the TLS site. I guess this is the issue.
