It is always the dream of every Nigeria parent to see their child studying in any of the prestigious universities in the country, little wonder why they could go to any length, even if it is to part with a certain amount just to secure admission for their ward.

In a sad tale of an industrial chemistry student of the University of Jos we learned that she applied for admission through the help of a university lecturer and subsequently got an admission letter, prompting her to proceed to pay her school fees, departmental fee, student fee, faculty fee e.t.c with the lecturer dubiously aiding her all through the process.

Just like her peers, after her matriculation, she diligently faced her studies and happily continued to participate in all the school and departmental activities.
