As the process of selecting the new cabinet members intensifies, topping the list of those that might not get their appointment renewed is former Governor of Rivers State and the immediate former Minister of Transport, Mr. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

Reliable source within the team assembled by President Muhammadu Buhari to oversee the transition from the first tenure to the second tenure revealed reasons that Amaechi didn’t make the list includes the part he played in All Progressive Congress [APC] crisis in the Niger Delta region, his long standing troubles with the chief of staff, Abba Kyari among other issues.

amaechi performed excellently, he deserves to be in buhari's cabinet but this is politics and as such any thing can happen.

He will make the cabinet unless something bigger awaits him...may be COS to d president.
