We human beings always want to think that we are in charge of the world affairs. We think that we are the "captain" of our "souls" and that by our decisions and actions we can determine what will happen. However, Scripture confronts us with quite a different scenario. Although human decisions and actions are significant, the will of God is vastly more important beyond doubt.

While skeptics wll continue to debate the role of God's action and the role of human decision in salvation, God's sovereignty stands out clearly. The contemporary world has set God to the side and ignores the divine influence on the course of human affairs. But God decisons really do direct the world as well as the personal histories of those who trust him. We can positively affirm that God's causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and called according to his purpose for them. Amen

The NKJ version stated in Psalms 69:9
"For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me."

The Bolded " thine house" can be referred to the "Church" and the head of the Church is "Christ" and also the term "Zeal" can also bear the word "Passion"."enthusiasm" or "keenness"

In essence meaning I am a "fanatic" for "Christ". or can I say "Taliban" without the terror aspect of it.
