this shouldn't be a problem. Let the immigration wait for them at the airports when try want to travel and harass & embarrass them to collect the passport from them.

How do you cancel or delete any thing in Nigeria where there's no central server.

All the Passports issues by Immigration since e-passport started are in a central database. It's available at the airports, that's why we have immigration at the airports with access to same.

Diplomatic passports gives visa waivers and priority, but the passport will still be scanned at airports. If it returns cancelled. It's useless

I know bukola Saraki will be among them.

As ex-Senate President, he's entitled to a whole lot of diplomatic and official courtesies till he dies.

He isn't one of them.

Nigeria is behind when it comes to tech, must they return the passports in person before making the passports invaild from imigration office server, simple click and enter chikinah

This is not about tech... it's about accountability and enforcement. If they are supposed.to return it and they don't.... then they should be booked for illegal possession of Federal Property or some such charge.

I know you are one of the many people on NL who can't make a comment without resorting to insults or abuse. You aren't an expert witness, so if I go ahead to prove to you whether I am okay or not, it will be a waste of your time.

Go and read up everything in RMAFC on Legislators Post Entitlements.

Also be informed, t's not everything that can be in the Constitution.

Every problem has a solution, it all depends on how resilient and savvy you're to be able to decipher the solution. In this instance, all the FGN [Federal Government of Nigeria] has to do is to cancel all those diplomatic passports that the holders had refused to turn in at the end of the political tenure. The solution is simple and would even embarrass the heck out of the holders when they try to travel with a canceled passport.

Must they always go after these ex officials ? Can’t they just render the passports invalid from their database? Or just issue a diplomatic passport that covers their term in office ? Just thinking.
