Who will guide us into the governor's heart? - Adebola Talabi

I am a staff of Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu Ijebu. The institution have passed through hell on earth during the last regime. The two provosts that managed the school since its relocation to Omu have been callous. Governor Amosu develops tantrum at the mention of Tasce. He punished us with non payment of straight 15 months salary, and half salary for two and a half years. We endured, hoping that the regime will lapse.

We romance with the incumbent governor right from the period of his campaign and God crowned our efforts by giving him victory in the election. We told him all our problems and he promised he will put balm on our pains. We told him our demands and we thought he assimilated everything. Our expectations are that he will make a pronouncement on our school once inaugurated so that peace can reign in the school.
Students are out of campus because we are owed 54 months salary. Up till now April and May salary is still hanging. We demand for the removal of our provost who brought in battalions of soldiers to come and kill us for asking for salaries owed us. We complained about rampant death and ill health caused by poverty as a result of non payment of salaries. We complained that our provost holds on to our salaries already paid into school account. We complained that our provost is not qualified to head the school. We complained that our provost squandered our revenue. We complain...

In spite of all these, the new government does not see the situation as critical. Is it because there have not been fracas? Is it because we are not taken serious? Is it because the government do not feel our pains? Does the government think we are super humans for enduring those hardships and should continue to do so?

We are human being like all others. We have blood flowing through our veins. We have responsibilities to fulfill. Pls, empathise with us. Have compassion. We are human beings like you.

I know the governor might be very busy now and our issue will be slated for later time, kept in view. But this is a matter of life and death. Prevent further death on that campus.
I plead with any member of the public that has the pin code to the governor's soft spot to please present our case in a way that he will see the urgency in resolving Tasce issue.
April and May salary yet to drop.
