The cookie has finally crumbled after so much pressure. Nigeria has been suspended indefinitely by FIFA. This means that Nigeria cannot participate in any FIFA organised tournament until this suspension is lifted. The news was absolutely euphonious to me and alot of other Nigerians. Like Adokiye Amasiemaka puts it, "we need some time out for sober introspection. . .". It is exactly what we need in my own opinion.
I'd like for us to now profer solutions on the way to go for Nigerian football so that at the end of all these we would come out bigger, better and bolder and Nigerian football would once again attain and surpass the vertiginous height it once proudly stood at.
