No matter how good your players if you a inept goal keeper you cant go far . akpeyi is the worst Nigerian goal keeper ever !! he should not only be dropped but sent home . 1 Like |

Onoachu, Awaziem, and Akpayi, are clowns. i dont know how they made to our national team, shehu's injury is a big blow to our defence, because Awaziem is a big flop, is he the only right back that we have. Btw i see the super eagles beating Guinea 2-1, I would have said 2-0 but i don't trust that Mr blunder Akpayi. 1 Like |

slimthugchimee2: Football is not mathematics. Playing a draw with Madagascar doesn't mean they can't beat the SE. Again, go and check the head-to-head of both teams - we have similar records. Lastly, Guinea is no walkover, we have to work exceedingly hard to earn the three points. Have a nice day. |

Nigeria's football glory died more than 30 years ago. we only do well in age competitions because we are age cheats. Institutional and govermental cheating will take us no where. forget olympic gold and the u-17 world cup wins, the real deal is winning a competition with no age barriers. Did you se how the so called Falcons were playing football as if they were in the 70s? Goalkeeper making a school ground error in the last match against the Germans? Nigeria simply has no shame. No reputation to defend and just a fourth world mediocre football playing country. The nigerian brains have been drained. How can Mikel Obi be a footballer for God's sake?, a scared fearful backward passing footballer! Nigeria should go & hire a french speaking coach, perhaps a fellow african, who understand professionalism, discipline, health & fitnesses etc. Most african footballers are too old to compete, i remember when osaze was at the olympics, it was said that he was the oldest in the group, and yet he was the most fastest and speedier and more mobile among the lot. our world cup goal keeper in Russia 2018 was how old? 19? you nigerians are in serious trouble. no one is saying or questioning anything. how did we get here? how low can we get? The way forward for nigeria is a proper national database, where ages and IDs cannot be manipulated (are you sure?) primary and secondary as well as university football games and multi sports events etc Sponsorships and scolarship awards to excelling individuals. there are many girls in nigeria today who can be found in nooks and crannies, universities, armed forces and even in brothels who can play better than the present crops in the super falcons team. May i also say this, nigeria supporters at the statiums should stop singing and blurting out this ugly song, all we are saying, give us one goallllllll? i beg your pardon?, even at the dying minutes against the Germans, they were unashamedly still singing the song. what an embarrassment, of course you didnt use my money for your gate fee into the stadium, but please learn decency and respect your opponents. stop those 'hay hay hay' shouts when your team dribbles an opponent. it is unsportmanlike behaviour. get primitive behaviour out of nigeria football. jamaica is good at one thing, ATHLETICS, what is Nigeria good at?

anabose: Oh yeah? Players who aren't even in the right frame of mind to play this game. In case you don't know, these entitled cats play more for the money than the Nigerian people and the honour of wearing the jersey. I, for one, wouldn't be surprised if they lost by a lone goal to the Syli Stars. All you need is 10k, a bet on Guinea to win and you'll be staring at 46k by the time the game is done. |
