Tierney is a long-term target of Arsenal’s, who are looking to rebuild the squad after a transitional year. As well as a new left-back, the Gunners are looking to sign a centre-back, a midfielder and a wide forward. For the latter, Nicolas Pepe and Wilfried Zaha have been touted but both Lille and Crystal Palace are demanding huge fees. If Emery manages to secure his targets, there will have to be some departures to pay for them all. High-profile exits have been talked up and some include Mesut Ozil, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Shkodran Mustafi.
