Thiago is by far more creative my main fear with Rudy is this being his first season at a big club. I thought he would be a Rode 2.0 (not that Rode was a bad player anyway)

As for Vidal his form atm is pretty poor. I think he is dealing with some off-field drama as well which is why some time playing off the bench might be necessary IMO

Watzke better go and beg Tuchel. I thought Tuchel's high line was bad but Bosz is killing it with his defensive incompetence

I'm not a big fan of the Vidal-Tolisso midfield pairing. They basically offer the same thing:all-action play and limited creativity. Tolisso is a bit restrained but Vidal is always walking a tight rope and you get the feeling it's only a matter of time before he gets into trouble. IMO, only one of them may start, the other should be an option off the bench when closing out matches. The good thing is we won't get to see this combo every time. Javi-Thiago should be the default double pivot once every one is fit. Maybe, a few tactical tweaks, Thiago as a no 10 , and rotation from time to time to accommodate any of Vidal, Tolisso and Rudy.

Lewy should be back tomorrow, not 100% obviously but we go manage. We really need to get a backup striker in Jan. The workload is too much on Lewandowski. Not too many names come to mind. Gomez is injured and even if he wasn't I don't think he would be interested. Sandro Wagner is a decent option, he is a bit on the old side and I'm sure he won't mind a return to Bayern.
