Aliexpress does that. Maybe because the names on the card and profile match or you've used it there before but I don't remember the last time my Bank asked for OTP on an Aliexpress order.

The orders are still in processing, and would stay there for about a day. Shipping takes another day or two or three depending on the seller. Anyway, once its shipped you would get an email and the tracking number would be visible on the app. You can track on aliexpress or the numerous other tracking sites available

As revealed on the page, your order is still being processed by the store, and the tracking will update when it's finally shipped. Trying to track it at this moment won't yield any results because the order is yet to be handed over to the logistics company. So, you've got to be patient.

The quality of these items may be questionable. Chinese actually know how to make their quality goods pricey. A Bluetooth earbud I got for $77 two years ago still works. The type I got for ₦5000 while waiting for it to arrive failed under two weeks; you usually get what you pay for- most of the time.

You do more work buying things here because of some of the following reasons:

1) The site is geared towards wholesalers, most sellers won't even deal with you if you are buying only 1 piece

2) Sellers won't ship for you, when they do the cost is usually super expensive when compared to AliExpress shipping cost.

3) You have to chat up the sellers to confirm the actually cost of items listed. Don't be surprised seeing an item listed for $70 is actually being sold one for $150. That $70 is the cost when you buy 5000 pieces or more.

4) Unless you know what you are doing, reviews at Alibaba is not as great as reviews at AliExpress, so an uninformed buyer may end up buying low quality items.


Now to the upsides, if you know your way around via doing your own personal shipping, verifying quality of items, negotiating with the sellers, etc you'll end up with a better deal than AliExpress. But often times you only get this deal when you buy at wholesale.

Since most buyers here only buy like in retail quantity, that may explain the lack of a thread for Alibaba shoppers.

But you can always start one. I'll follow.

I know all these bro. Sometimes price doesn't determine quality, but looking at the price could also be a great pointer in getting quality.

At least, those items has lots of good reviews by Nigerians, trying something new at a reasonable price is worth the risk

ABV actually means Abuja. So this means that, it has been dispatched to the Abuja Distribution Centre. I understand that this is the center that feeds parcels to the different places in Abuja and North.

Nooo, you probably did not get the right channel. They usually pay compensation for Loss and damages oo. I am very sure. It may take time but mhen... they will pay you ni sha.
