Joseph, a just man and a man of love

Matthew 1:19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

Beloved, the message is this
- a just man is considerate of others and is compassionate
- does not condemn others openly
- correct with love and preferably in the secret not willing to expose others' weakness even if you have been wronged or they are doing the wrong thing. You can also pray for them if they are not approachable.

An example is Jesus Christ who irrespective of Judas's sin did not expose him but His expectation was that through his walk with Him, he might change whenever he keeps hearing the Word. Beloved, the Word of GOD is teaching you and I to be just and be merciful and to be full of compassion. When speaking about a person, always the weigh the consequences, will the person be affected Spiritually, psychologically or physically. There is no essence of telling others of people's weakness. Approach them and correct with love.

Joseph considered all these and did not put away Mary his betrothed publicly. So, there is a need for us to live just in this world by being open to correcting in love and not to expose man's weakness. If GOD tells people all your wrongdoings how would you feel? But He has been merciful and patient irrespective of our shortcomings, so we need to be merciful like He is and considerate of others.

Let us therefore forsake gossipping, condemnation and embrace correction with love being mindful of those who are to be corrected.
