Yeah.
The game is really working.
In 6 months time, I see the entire southern Nigeria fall in tune with cattle rearing.
The north has indeed succeeded in pushing this idea of herdsmanship to Nigeria.Who knows,in couple of years to come.Pig(forbidden meat) rearing in the south should go extinct.

I guess Anambra state govt. will still come out to say they allocated 30 billion naira for the feeding of the cow and lodged it in a 5 star ranch. cheesy

I have always wondered why other parts of the country cannot rear cattle when the southern part even have more fertile grazing land for the cattle.
It's annoying and pure lack of foresight from Southern leaders, businessmen and indigenes to have made it look cattle rearing is a type of agriculture only Northerners have the know how for.
Kudos to the anambra state government.
Individuals in southern states and governments should key into this idea and break the Fulani cattle monopoly, after all they can't graze in the North all year long, but can in almost all Southern states.
The Igbo people rear cow but a different specie caled Efi/Ehi Igbo mainly for traditional stuffs , but you can see them often except once in a while because they are ranched.
Its high time our people started rearing this particular specie for meat

The cow is fat and healthy because it has not been roaming from one state or country to another under rain and hot sun all in the name of senseless herding.

Keep cows in a particular very large open space and provide food and water for them so they can grow well and be healthy. Sometimes you will see these fulani cows and you will pity them, their cows be looking lean and malnourished because they have travelled the whole Nigeria under harsh condition.
I always wonder why a human being will comfortably choose to suffer and herd cattle from one state to another even to the extent of entering into another country. Is that not madness. How many of the fulani elites who own the cows will allow their children become herdsmen?

That is how cow for beef should look. The meat from this cow will be soft and easy to cook especially for steak.
The Fulani cow is trash and chewy. This is as a result of treaking all over the country.

That's how farm cows look.
Cause they don't walk around 24 hrs a day, burning away every little fat or calorie they eat.
Look at how fulani cows look like sticks,is that how cows should look like.
