Megan Rapinoe has hit back at Donald Trump after the US President suggested the World Cup star had disrespected her country. The USA winger, who is a vocal figure in the LGBT community, dismissed the idea of attending the White House were her team to win the World Cup. The comments, made weeks before the tournament, sparked an angry response from President Trump, but Rapinoe insisted she would continue to speak her mind. ‘I expect him to have a lot better things to do before that got on the to-do list,’ she said. ‘I’m sure he skipped over a number of things.
