InfoWARE, the leading Investment banking software solutions provider in the Pan African region is growing it's foot print in West and East Africa and requires a Trading System Support Analyst with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a focus on organization, and enhanced multitasking abilities.


Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related disciplines.
Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in financial services
Client-facing technical support experience.
Financial knowledge of equity and commodities markets.
Self-starter with ability to work in fast paced trading environment
Ability to work as a team
Strong organizational, communication skills, and ability to multi-task.
Strong proficiency in troubleshooting, communication, and information gathering skills to help aid peers and development team in resolving complex issues.
Good technical documentation skills
Experience working with trading systems and order/execution management systems.
Knowledge of SQL, FIX protocol, and other Trading Protocols a plus
Knowledge of scripting or programming languages a plus
Must be able to provide support during pre- and post- market hours

Expectations
Provide first-rate support for customers by resolving issues in a timely manner, answering questions, relaying feature requests, and providing the best possible user experience.
Resolve a wide variety of immediate trading system issues with a sense of urgency.
Troubleshoot complex trading system-related issues, enter issues into CRM/ticketing system, and build knowledge base to capture workarounds and to help with future troubleshooting.
Collect data, identify patterns, and correlate problems to identify the root cause of issues.
Suggest and implement process improvements to reduce the time to resolve issues.
Provide good quality Technical Documentation of the processes and functions of the system.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the user base
Assist with the onboarding of new clients, trading system enhancements, and other assigned projects
Assist with the development of reporting requests from clients.
