WE DON'T EVEN WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING RELATED TO CATTLE OR CATTLE REARING FOR NOW, WE ALREADY KNOW BUHARI'S INTENTION! HE SHOT HIMSELF IN THE LEG ALREADY
As you know buhari intention will it make people stop eating beef or will it make Fulani people residing and doing business in all over the country leave? ........when you guys insist on ranching if a Fulani man buys land for his ranch in Enugu or bayelsa, will he not be the owner of the land? Doesn't that then mean a Fulani man now owns land in Bayelsa and can do anything he like on the land...... What then is the noise about Ruga which doesn't make them the owner of the land and can even be driven out anytime..... But as a ranch owner do you think you can just wake up one day and drive them away without causing problems? Most of the problems in plateau benue taraba and zamfara is cause by indigenous land owners having sold land to Fulani turn around to sell same land for their kinsmen thinking Fulani are fools, some of these people's forefathers sold the lands and their grand children are now claiming the land to be theirs and forcefully seizing the lands from them ......we are in the time of bitter politics but one day when Buhari is out of the picture and you won't have a Fulani president to blackmail then your eyes will open for now continue in your blind ignorance

The problem is not terminology but it is about hate.introduce ranching the same senseless fools will still say exactly the same things, because they have deep seated HATE.

Rather than advise the president, advise the legion of people who despite not having a single state from their region participating in the scheme where the ones making the most hateful and inflammatory statements on it
do not generalize bro, distrust and neposim had always been our problem in Nigeria not hate

Any plan or conspiracy to implement Ruga against the wish of Nigerians shall not prosper. BTW is cow business FG business. Please those that voted APC enjoy your next level ( suffering, hunger, unemployment, cases of suicide, blood letting by Buhari terrorists and his brother, non implementation of minimum wage, kidnapping by Buhari brothers, sudden plan to implement Ruga, the list is endless)

Buhari and his jihadist brothers gave up on RUGA immidately they saw that Sowore has paid homeage to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in United States and both agreed to work together against the dictatorship, killings, oppression and suppression going on in the zoo,

Imagine IPOB radio and shara-reporters coming together against this evil government, the combination will be more deadlier than atomic. bomb.

Livestock industry development will no doubt be of great economic value to any country. In Nigeria this move would be a revival and major improvement of a colonial heritage.

Those working against ranching or Ruga ( call it whatever name) are only directing their hostility against Buhari and they will oppose whatever development he introduces. It is a manifestation blind ethnic hatred and they can not overcome their anger over the Buhari’s second term election victory.

Postage stamps from the colonial Nigeria traditionally depicts potential wealth and areas of development or ongoing projects. Thank God our attention is returning to livestock and dairy development as well.
you have spoken well to your self but buhari turning blind eyes to herdsmen carrying weapon killing Nigerians, because your family are yet to be a victim that's why you only think of wealth and not death.

A wise man has spoken. The politicians should not be carried away by the money they are seeing, they should be humble and listen to wise men, that understands the essence of politics and the law, even more than them. Sir Falana is one such man, he has been
in the scene, advocating for good governance consistently.
Presidents, local government leaders, all come and go, but wise advice adopted by a smart government, gives lasting benefits to the polity. The people should demand that wise counsel leads in our polity, we own this system, politicians are our administrators, they must listen to the People.

Why is nobody talking about the 30days ultimatum issued by the Arewa?
However, cattle business is a private one and should be treated as it is...
the state or FG can only assist in loans and grants as it done to other businesses.
No Southern state governor should invest in ranching if the project is targeted at generating money from Fulani
cos they have no respect for "constituted authority", they hate taxation, they love cow more than humans,
they trade in terrorism and other illicit activities.
Ranching is a proffessional business, anyone can be trained and employed to work in a ranch, state governments and investors will most likely employ indigenes of states they operate in. Cow rearing is not rocket science. Ranching is the most logical alternative, run it as the private business that it is, it will also create local employment. No one has exclusivity in rearing cows in Nigeria, there is no such law.

Ranching is better and should be seen as private investment not one funded from the national purse! Besides, let Fulani herders have their ranches up North, if we need their beef we'll buy from them! We are better off as distant friends. I hope those of us down South can tap into the ranching thing and stop depending on their cows for meat, I don't think rearing cows and selling them as meat should be solely a Fulani thing undecided
Thanks for the clear, concise and intelligent comment.

Sir, the problem isn't that people are bitter towards Buhari. The truth is people are more concerned about the safety of their lives and properties. I have seen first hand what these herdsmen can do to a community. So if people are against anything that would give herdsmen a legitimate place in their communities, then there's absolutely nothing wrong in it.....Cheers.

This man is hustling full time for Attorney General.

We don't need any fulani bullshit in the SE. They can take their ranching to somewhere else.

If they must, it would be on our terms, taxable, open grazing fully abolished and inter-racial

Any Buhari funded cattle policy will never stand in the SE.

Grazing reserve, cattle colony, Ruga and the ranching are not allowed in the East. We will only allow it if the policy is not designed as a policy for the fulanis alone.

Ranching at this point is even the worst idea. They will just use it as another opportunity to get free lands sponsored by FG. Later they will convert it to militia camps from which coordinated attacks on innocent people will be launched. These people are nomadic by nature, do you think you can break a lifestyle tradition of thousands of years just like that? They love to roam about, it's their way, from one country to another they will be trekking up and down and creating temporary makeshift camps inside the forest till they wander again. That's what they like doing. The problem is because of the insecurity of the country worsened and they fell victims, they started arming themselves for self defense, and also because they clash with farmers after leading their cattle to destroy crops, but now they have turned to militia groups that are wiping out populations to take over territories from indigenes and carve out mass lands for themselves along the routes they graze. So, to solve this, we have to go back to the previous time where they graze unarmed, no weapons, no guns, just sticks, and then they have to buy food for their cattle to feed, no free grazing on people's lands and crops, behaving like they own everywhere. Otherwise, then we send them back to wherever they came from because truth is, most of their adults are not Nigerians (maybe children are for those born here) but they were able to wander here freely because of our porous borders, and now they want to claim the entire country with terrorism. So forget about ranching. Even if you create ranches, they will still roam. The FG needs to ban grazing, and ban nomadic movements in this country and create trespassing laws where you get punished for violating another man's property or farms and educate these people that they don't own the country that gives them that boldness they believe they can enter any territory and graze anywhere they like without consequences whether anybody likes it or not.
