When Obasanjo got tired of seeing Atiku's face at Aso Rock around 2005, he literarily sent him a sack letter and asked him to go. Atiku had to seek for relevant and fight his sack through the courts. Atiku had become just a VP in name only because the constitution protected him, not because he was useful to the president or his party. There is no record of Obasanjo ever handling over to Atiku despite of his many international globe throttling.

He was left to be an orphan. There was Reno, Dino, Saraki, FFK, Ben Nwabueze, IPOB or anybody except Tinubu to fight for him.

Yes, the same Tinubu that his new set of friends try to disparage at any given opportunity. It was Tinubu that offered him the platform of the then ACN to have a voice and right to contest for the presidency.

Fast forward to 2019, he now claims to have friends like FFK who was the minister of Aviation under the same Obasanjo, Saraki who was a PDP governor and Reno who was probably still in high school then. None of those his new fake fair weather friends were on hand to stand by him in his great moment of need, goes to show the kinds of characters he has surrounded himself with.
