The arrest of a 19-year old boy, Gafari Ayinde, who was caught having sex with a six-year old girl, may have revealed the level of sexual molestation suffered by minors before cases of assault are exposed. P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Awoniyi Street in Mushin area of Lagos, where they reside. The suspect, Ayinde, claimed that the girl was close to him and as such he regarded her as his girlfriend before they were caught in the act and handed over to the police at Olosan Division.
