Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has returned to the club as a manager following sarri’s exit from the club.

Lampard signed a three-year deal to become manager after an impressive first season in the dugout last term with Derby.

Frank Lampard had a very simple message for his Chelsea players as he took training for the first time: He asked them to play with high intensity and dominate opponents.

That is according to Blues defender Cesar Azpilicueta, who will be coached by his former teammate next season after Lampard succeeded Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge.



Chelsea will play their first match of the season against Manchester united Sunday 11 August 2019 at Stanford bridge.
