YFAN: The Youth Farmers Association of Nigeria
Is set to launch at Itori, Ogun State. It aim of this agricultural association is to encourage an awareness of agriculture and to promote improvements in the quality of life of persons living in an agricultural community by: Researching the needs of the agricultural community and developing programs to meet those needs. The entire focus will be totally on youths, while providing them with resources, information, and modern skills on agriculture.
One of the major purposes of agricultural education is to apply the knowledge and skills learned in several different disciplines to agricultural education. This program places an emphasis on food systems, environmental issues, and development of life skills.
